Xiaomi
power-packed Redmi Note 2 Pro got certified by China's TENAA rating
agency, which we have already seen in numerous leaks and rumours, might
finally see the light of the day as soon as November 24. The
possible launch date comes from the teaser image posted by the company
on its Weibo account on Tuesday. The teaser image says 'Grand Finale' in
Chinese, followed by the launch date but fails to mention anything
about the smartphone. As per My Drivers website, the launch is scheduled
to take place at the Beijing National Convention Centre. The
Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature a smooth metal body design with a
rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is a first for Xiaomi. It will
weigh approximately 165 grams compared to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2's
160 grams. It will also feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a MediaTek
Helio X10 (MT6795) processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 gigabytes of on-board
storage, a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and a big 3060mAh battery. As far as the price goes, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro packed with 2 GB of RAM will reportedly set the buyers back by as low as $172. Meanwhile, the flagship Xiaomi Mi 5
has been one of rumor mill's favorite topics for a long time now. But
then, there is no credible information available to pin point the launch
date, even though the configuration details have cropped up time and
again. Needless to say, the expectation of the Mi 5 getting introduced
alongside the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is quite strong. Source: http://www.xiaomidevice.com/blog/xiaomi-redmi-note-2-pro-release-date-and-specs/
