The much awaited Xiaomi Mi5 which is speculated to debut next month is said to come in two variants, says a report from China. There
are few sources which claim that Xiaomi Mi 5 will only include a
standard sensor. There are also unconfirmed reports that Xiaomi is
expected to ditch Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor for MediaTek’s Helio
X20 processor. If reports are to be believed, there will be
5.7-inch display variant to Mi5 in the near future. We hope that this
will be a big boost for those users who are used to Xiaomi Mi Note Pro which has 5.5-inch display. Xiaomi
Mi 5 is expected to ship with a 16MP primary camera which will have an
ability to capture images upto 5312 x 2988 pixels. The camera will have
features such as autofocus, optical image stabilization and dual-LED
flash, compared with Xiaomi Mi 4C, camera function increase a lot . There are unconfirmed reports emerging that the device will have a non-expandable memory card slot, Xaiomi Redmi Note 3 also does not support SD expansion card, which is bit disappointing. A
tipster, who goes by the moniker Shenkan Digital on Weibo has claimed
that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 will come in two models- wherein the base
model will cost ¥1999 (around $311/€284/Rs. 20,800) and the top-end
variant will set you back by ¥2499 (around $389/Rs.25,992) Xiaomi Mi 5 is most likely to be available exclusively via XiaomiDevice.com as a flash sale by the end of January. Source: http://www.xiaomidevice.com/blog/xiaomi-mi5-specifications-price-and-release-date-details/
