Xiaomi Max
has been reported to feature a hexa-core processor along with 3GB of
RAM. However, the latest report states that the smartphone will come in
not one, but two RAM models. Why can't we just have one model? There's
a metal strip running along the phone's edges, and the display looks to
be approaching the 6-inch by diagonal size. In terms of hardware, the
phablet should be equipped with a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon
processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 16MP (rear) / 5MP (front)
camera setup. All in all, not exactly a flagship phone, but an
affordable solution for those lusting after large-screens. The resolution being rendered on the xiaomi device
will be 1080p, and the natural benefits of having a massive phone in
your hands will not just be having more room to play games and enjoy
high-definition content, but Xiaomi will have ample room to place a
massive battery capacity too. According to the source, thanks to the
6.4-inch screen, Max will feature a whopping 4,500mAh cell underneath
its chassis. That aforementioned amount is larger than what we see on
modern tablets, and that 6.4-inch screen will be the contributing factor
to that. The release date of the massive phablet is going to be
May 10, and for its specifications, we believe that it is going to be
priced right around the same range as a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 or Xiaomi Mi5.
It is possible that thanks to the larger screen size and battery
capacity, the final retail price could go up, but just by a smaller
margin, so that the company is able to cater to a larger audience. Source: Xiaomi Device
