While the Chinese OEM has been hitting the headlines with its latest flagship – Xiaomi Mi5
– the company is also planning to unveil the successor the Xiaomi Redmi
Note 3. According to the latest rumors, the company will be coming in
with two variants of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. As
mentioned earlier, this year has already seen Xiaomi come in with quite
a number of devices. Besides the flagship Mi5 and phablet Xiaomi Mi Max, the company released the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
early this year. Given that the Redmi Note 3 was announced in August
last year, speculations are pointing towards an August release date for
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will probably arrive in
the coming months. It was just a matter of time before Redmi Note 4
rumors start popping up, and the first one surfaced quite recently.
According to the available info, the Redmi Note 4 will ship in two
variants, one will be fueled by the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core
processor, and the other one(Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro)
will ship with the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core SoC. The rumor also
claims that the device will sport a 5.5-inch display, and that the
13-megapixel snapper will be placed on its back. Now, do keep in mind
that the source is still uncertain whether we’re looking at a single or
dual camera setup here. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro
remains to be one of the most affordable, but very capable devices. In
fact, the entire Redmi Note series can be considered as a mid-range
family. However, if the Chinese OEM opts to use the said Helio X20 in
one of the phone’s variants, it is possible that many will come to fall
in love with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, especially the price is kept at an
affordable rate as with its predecessors. All in all, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
will probably be announced sometime this summer, most likely in August.
Nevertheless, there is plenty of time still remaining until then, and
will most definitely have more information concerning the smartphone in
the next period of time. Source: Xiaomi Device
