Most iPhone 8 rumors to date agree that Apple will launch three
iPhones next year, including a radically redesigned iPhone 8, and two
successors for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. A very puzzling rumor
from Asia now claims that Apple is working on a 5-inch iPhone that will
feature a vertical dual camera. Is this the iPhone 8?
On Tuesday, unnamed supply chain sources told Apple news blog Mac
Otakara in Taiwan that Apple is working on three new models for 2017.
Entering the current line up of phones with 4.7- and and 5.5-inch
screens could be a new medium-sized model with a 5-inch screen that also
includes the dual-lens camera currently only found on the larger screen
Plus model. If rumors proved to be true, it is speculated that
Apple will kill the iPhone SE line. The iPhone SE is Apple's take on the
mid-range market. The smartphone was released in March as a replacement
for iPhone 5S. It retained its 4-inch screen while including some of
the specs and features of iPhone 6S such as the updated processor, rear
camera, and support for iOS 9 software features such as Apple Pay,
always-on Siri activation, and Live Photos. As you can see, there
are still a lot of uncertainty surrounding what exactly Apple has in
store for 2017 and the new iPhone lineup. With today’s report, however,
it seems increasingly likely that a 5-inch model is at least something
the Cupertino company is considering. As for specifics, we’ll likely
hear more as we inch closer to release, but the final word will come
when the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, iPhone 8, or whatever they end up
being called, are unveiled. Tags: iPhone 8 Case, iPhone 8 Plus Case, Samsung Galaxy S8 Case, Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge Case, iPhone 7S Case, iPhone 7S Plus Case, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Case
