Samsung has confirmed it will delay the launch of its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, and will change the phone's design to enhance its display. Preliminary findings suggest the problem may be related to the exposed portion of the hinge. Samsung did not say when the Galaxy Fold would hit the market, which could be an indefinite delay, but the Wall Street journal reported earlier that a handful of tech journalists found the screen cracked, bulged and flickered after using the Galaxy Fold for a day. Samsung notified the customers who booked Galaxy Fold via email to postpone the listing. "Your booking ensures that you are in the queue for access to this innovative technology. We will update you with more specific shipping information in two weeks” Samsung said. Separately, Samsung will take back all Galaxy Fold shipped to the United States and Europe for full inspection.
