Curves are to be found everywhere. Huawei will unveil its high-end phablet with dual curve display, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro in a matter of some weeks according to GizOK. Up till now what we know of as the Long Island model will give a QHD resolution and on the other hand the Manhattan (Mate 9) will be having a resolution of 1080p. Images of Huawei’s Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro have been shared by serial leaker Evan Blass. Up above is the Mate 9 Pro, which features a dual curved edge display, similar to Samsung Galaxy S8. The device even appears to have a fingerprint reader below its display, just like the GS8 edge. Complementing the dual-curved edges on the 5.9" display is the 1440p QHD resolution which should give the device a total pixel density of 497 PPI - a fairly high number that sits above the approximate 400 PPI you get on phones with a 1080p resolution and a 5.5" display. Both the Mate 9 Pro and Mate 9 are expected to have Kirin 960 processors, 4GB of RAM, storage options between 64GB and 256GB, and dual rear camera setups like the Huawei P9. The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be announced at Huawei's November 3rd conference which is just under two weeks away. Source: GizOK |
