The University of Manchester’s Primary and Secondary PGCE programmes
have been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ across all assessed elements – the
highest possible rating – by Ofsted.Post Graduate Certificate in Education(PGCE)
The
result confirms the University as one of the country's leading teacher
training providers and adds to the 'Outstanding' rating already achieved
by the institution's Teach First programme.

The Ofsted report
notes that the University offers carefully crafted training programmes,
high-quality mentoring and diverse placements – resulting in trainees
graduating extremely well-prepared to teach."This is an excellent
